Citibank Credit Cards

Citibank is one of the leading providers of credit cards in the United States. As such they have a wide range of offerings when it comes to the credit cards they either issue or process.

There are 17 Citibank credit cards to choose from. They range from 6 Citibank branded cards. American Airlines offers 4 credit cards through Citibank. Expedia, Hilton Hotels and AT&T all offer 2 cards each from Citibank. Lastly Citibank offers their Diamond Card.

Citibank Cards

Citi Simplicity Credit Card. This card does not have an annual fee. The card offers 0% interest for 18 months on any balance transfers or purchases during the promotional period. There are no late fees charged on the card and no penalty interest rate. After the promotional period the interest rate moves to 12.99% to 21.99%.

Citi Cash Back card allows cardholders to earn double rewards for each purchase. 1% is earned as the customer makes the purchase and then another 1% is offered when payments are made to the account. For the first 15 months there is a 0% interest offer. After the promotional period interest rates will be between 12.99% and 22.99%. There is no annual fee on this card.

Citi Diamond Preferred Card does not have an annual fee. The card offers customers with access to a concierge service that can provide help with hotel reservations, tickets for flights, and other travel assistance. New cardholders get the option of 18 months interest free for purchases and balance transfers. After the promotional rate has ended the ongoing rate is 11.99% to 21.99% based on the quality of the credit application.

Citi Thank You cards. There are 4 Citi Thank You Cards to choose from. They are the Citi Thankyou Preferred Card, The Citi Thankyou Premier Card, Citi Prestige Card, and The Citi Thankyou Preferred Card for College Students.

  • The Thankyou Preferred Card earns 20,000 Thankyou points as a bonus when the account is opened. The new cardholder must spend $1,500 in the first 3 months on the card to qualify for the bonus. This is the equivalent of $200 in cash back. 0% is offered on transfers and purchases for the first 12 months of account opening. The standard rate will apply after 12 months. This rate ranges from 12.99% to 22.99%. There is no annual fee on the card.

  • The Citi Thankyou Premier Card allows you to earn a bonus of 50,000 points after the needed qualifying purchases are made. The annual fee is waived for the first year and is $125 per year after that. The interest rate on the card is between 13.99% and 22.99%.

  • Citi Prestige Card has an offer for a bonus of 30,000 points for new cardholders. You are required to spend $2000 in the first three months of account opening in order to qualify for the bonus. The annual fee for the card is $450 per year. The variable interest rate is 15.24% for all purchases and transfers. Additional benefits include access to American Airlines lounges and over 440 other airport lounges around the world. There is $200 is statement credits offered on airline fees. Cardholders also get 2 points at restaurants. Cardholders have access to a worldwide concierge service which provides exclusive access to tickets and reservations at hard to get into establishments.

 

  • Citi Thankyou Preferred Card for College Students gives new card holders a bonus of 2,500 points. You must spend $500 in the first 3 months in order to qualify for the bonus. The 0% promotional rate is good for the first 7 months and includes all purchases. After the promotional rate expires the cardholder will pay a rate of 13.99% to 23.99% based on credit. There is no annual fee with the card.

 

American Airlines offers 4 Citi Cards to choose from. These include the Citi Platinum Select World MasterCard, The Citi Executive World Elite, Citi Business Advantage and the Citi Gold World MasterCard. Each of these cards offer a sign up bonus with bonus miles ranging from 25,000 miles for the Citi Gold card to 50,000 miles for the Citi Executive. Annual fees range from $50 for the Gold to $450 for the Executive. The Citi Platinum and the Citi Business offer a 30,000 mile sign up bonus and an annual fee of $95, which is waived for the first year.  

Expedia offers two card options that are handled by Citibank. The Expedia card has a 15,000 point sign up bonus and no annual fee. The new account holder must purchase $1,000 worth of receipts during the first 3 months of account opening to get the bonus. This is equivalent to $200 with of coupons and discounts. Cardholders also have access to hotels at the VIP level. The Expedia Voyager Card offers 25,000 bonus points is the new account holder purchases $2,000 during the first 3 months the account is open. When redeemed it has a value of 350 worth of coupons and discounts for travel. VIP hotel access is also included. There is a $95 annual fee for the Voyager Card.

Hilton Hotels offers 2 credit cards by Citibank. The Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card has a 40,000 point bonus when $1,000 is spent during the first 4 months of a new account. There is no annual fee and cardholders earn points on spending that can be used for Hilton hotel stays. The Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card has a $95 annual fee. This card gives a bonus of 2 free weekend nights at a Hilton after the new cardholder spends $2,500 during the first 4 months of account opening.

AT&T has 2 credit cards to choose from. The AT&T Universal Savings and Rewards Card allows customers the ability to save 10% on AT&T products and services. This is available for the first 12 months of a new card opening. After 12 months the discount is reduced to 5% savings. Customers can earn up to $350 in savings each year. The AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Card offers 1.5% on purchases. There is no limit on how many points customers can earn. There is no annual fee for either of the AT&T credit cards.
